Saw Milling Services
I run a small scale sawmill based in the cotswolds near cirencester, I have a variety of different mills, ranging from highly portable chainsaw mills to a stationary bandsaw mill. these give the ability to tackle most milling projects, big or small. take a look at some of the services below to see if they would work for what your after, if not please get in touch to discus what your after. Aswell as this, if you have a tree that you would love to be able to be milled then turned into something (furniture, structure, anything else you can think of!) then that’s something I can do to.
Bandsaw Milling
This is perfect for if you have a large amount of small to medium logs (up to 40'“ diameter) you’d like milling, especially your after dimensional timber.
the bandsaw mill cuts far quicker than the chainsaw mill and is much easier to do squared off timber (beams, planks, cladding, etc)
the downside of the bandsaw mill is it requires the log to be bought to it, in my yard near cirencester. in most case you will need to arrange the transport however there may be some cases I would be able to collect and deliver at a cost so please get in touch.
Chainsaw milling
The chainsaw mill ideal for slabbing logs anywhere from 2ft to 7ft. the mill is extremely portable and can go almost anywhere, if you can walk there we can mill it!
as standard we can mill up to a 56” diameter log however can mill up to 78” at an extra cost. perfect for logs that would otherwise be inaccessible to any other type of mill or just to large to be moved and fit on other mills.happy to travel anywhere in the uk
Timber
I have a wide and varied range of English hardwood slabs and planks for sale, all sourced from fallen trees, trees being taken down for safety reasons or logs saved from being chipped.
I have over 15 species in all different sizes so if your after timber for a project please get in touch to see if i’ve got something that might work.
